Sunshine Coast will be filled with fun and thrilling events this March. Whether you are a surfer, a swimmer or just want to have fun in a ridiculous obstacle race, these are the events you want to be a part of!

Noosa Festival of Surfing
With the goal of celebrating the rich history of surfing and its diversity, a lifestyle festival was created. The Noosa Festival of Surfing brought in a huge number of crowd. In fact, last year's festival attracted more than 700 entries coming from 12 countries. Indeed, the festival is the leading and the biggest cultural event in the whole world.

Now on its 25th year, the Noosa Festival of Surfing promises to continue and showcase an even bigger and better festival. So get your surfboards ready as Noosa Festival of Surfing brings in eight days of pure stoke. Enjoy the perfect waves, competitions, free movie screening, live music, and more.

Mooloolaba Mile Ocean Swim
Attracting several swimmers all over Australia, Queensland's Mooloolaba Mile remains the most popular ocean swim event. Why wouldn't it? It's not only for elite swimmers but for beginners and novice alike. In fact, the Mooloolaba Mile Ocean Swim has various competition swimmers can choose from:

•    Marathon Distance (3.0km)
•    Mooloolaba Mile (1.6km)
•    Mooloolaba Half Mile (800m)
•    Junior Giants (300m & 800m)
◦    300m Kids Dash (8 – 16 years of age)
◦    800m Junior Giants (10 – 16 years of age)

Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge
For some fun and crazy race, join the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge. The 5k race is the original and the first game show-inspired race to feature ridiculously larger than life obstacles such as Cool Runnings, the Drop, Foam of Furry, Get it Up (and over), the Hippo, Jump Balls, Sky High, the Sweeper, and Wrecking Ball.
